Welding gas supplier

I’ve bought a few cylinders from Rob and had some refills done on my Argon and C25 tanks. Great price, fast service and the 24/7 hours make it nice to be able to get a tag filled on a Saturday afternoon if needed. Thanks for everything Rob, appreciate the service you provide.

Unbelievably poor customer service. Our employees that bring our bottles are treated like garbage. They refuse to help unload or load bottles, how is this appropriate let alone safe? We have sent four different employees there and all come back with the same reply wow they are incredibly rude and refuse to help". Our contract with them will be ending shortly and our company cant be happier. Northern Welding Supplies here we come."

My past experience at the Langley store hasn’t been great. I agree with the other reviewers that the Langley location has cashier staff that seem to be bored/ unhappy to be there. They aren’t very friendly and just want to take your money and have you leave the store ASAP.I stopped going to the Langley store for a long time because of this…UPDATE: June 2023Cashier customer service is still an issue as mentioned in my previous review. Unfriendly and surly cashier again today. I stood there for a good 4mins while the cashier did some paper work (no one else was in line), didn’t even acknowledge I was standing there, not even a “I’ll be right with you”. 1 star removed for poor cashier customer service …. still. Going to take my business someplace else.

Went to the Burnaby store last Tuesday July 21, 2020 and dealt with sales person Ryan Spannier. I was having gas flow problems with my Millermatic 211 dual voltage which I bought from Air Liquide many years ago. I have not used it very much over the years and the machine is in excellent condition. Ryan told me I had enough gas in the tank and that the problem was either with the regulator or somewhere inside the machine. He offered to loan me one of the shop regulators and hose to try out. I just live 5 minutes away. He did not ask for my credit card or any other type of deposit. Now that is old time business!! I guess I look trustworthy!? Much appreciated. I determined pretty quickly that the problem is not with the regulator and hose . After promptly returning the regulator and thanking Ryan, I wondered how I was going to do my little welding job the next day. I then thought about using flux core wire with my welder (ie. no gas required) and discovered that my machine could indeed use flux core. I then called to ask Ryan if they had any flux core wire. After he confirmed, I went back to the store to pick up a roll of flux core wire. Ryan was very friendly and helpful throughout the process. After getting back home and installing the flux core wire, I just happened to double check the manual which said I had to reverse the polarity of my machine while using fluxcore. After the simple polarity swap, the machine worked as it should and I was able to complete the project the next day as promised to the client, just in time for my hip surgery in 2 days.NOTE: while changing the wire spool, I noticed that the hose end of the gun did not seem to be not fully inserted!! Could this be the problem I was having with the gas. Anyways, it will have to wait until my hip heals. I completed the job with flux core wire.Thanks again,John Leung

Mike at the kamloops location in the little strip mall is so help full...i had called with an issue with a mig machine i was having and he saod to brimg it in...he checked it over gave me a few pointers and took the time to make sure inwas good to go...after that i bought some bottles for cutting torches and again he spent the time to make sure i was good to go...more places should should hire people like mike.

That’s two times in a row I have gone into the store and they have been nothing but rude. The first time my boss was with me. Should be easy now to convince him to switch to a different supplier for the company. I already refuse to by my personal supplies there. I hope the guy behind the counter is the owner because he will have nobody but himself to blame for the loss of business they must be experiencing. The reviews say it all. Lowest rating in the Tri cities.
